Vehicle Crossovers

Please complete an Application for Approval to Construct a Vehicle Crossover and submit it to [email protected]. Once received, the Shire will assess the site and provide some directions regarding location, culverts, and any necessary clearing. Crossover construction is not permitted until this application is approved.

Crossovers must be constructed to meet the Specifications for Construction of Vehicle Crossover. Important note: Where a crossing adjoins a sealed road within a townsite, a sealed crossover to the property boundary must be constructed. In all other cases, a sealed or unsealed crossover is permitted.

Providing this is the first crossover of the property, you may apply for a small subsidy after the crossover has been constructed using the below Application for Vehicle Crossover Subsidy (to [email protected]).  

 

Subsidy amount:

Sealed Crossover with culvert: $421.00

Unsealed Crossover with culvert: $204.50

Crossover without culvert: $145.50
