The Strategic Community Plan 2025-2035 was adopted by Council on 25 February 2025.

The Imagine Plantagenet Strategic Community Plan 2022/23-2032/33, adopted by the Council in May 2022, was reviewed in late 2024 to ensure the Corporate Business Plan 2022/23-2025/26 is focused on achieving this shared vision.

The SCP sets out the visions, aspirations and objectives for our community over a 10-year period. It guides the work, advocacy and partnerships undertaken by the Council.

The SCP aligns with the Corporate Business Plan, which sets out the Council’s operational priorities and informs the Shire’s budget over a four-year period.

Together, these plans guide the delivery of the community’s and Council’s shared vision for the future.

The Strategic Community Plan 2025-2035 balances the focus areas of the four key pillars of the plan - Community, Environment, Economy and Leadership. The revised plan has additional key issues, including housing development and water resource security, which were not part of the previous SCP.
