Commencing Monday 31 March, work on two roads will be carried out as part of the Annual Road Construction Programme.
Carbarup Road: contractors will be working along several sections of the road, impacting the southern end at the intersection of Woogenellup Road. Weather permitting, work may take up to 21 days to complete the road widening phase. Resealing sections of Carbarup Road and asphalting two intersections will be carried out following this work. Traffic management will be in place and delays may be experienced.
Newman Road, Narrikup: work will commence in preparation for sealing this section of road. There will be a temporary road closure in place and detours will be signed.
Also commencing Monday 31 March, contractors have been engaged to complete emergency works to reinstate roadside drains along Woogenellup Road and Woogenellup Road North, following the storm on 13 March. Closure of a single lane of traffic may cause delays. Traffic management will be on site and signage in place. It is estimated the work will take approximately two weeks.
