The entire Shire is now in the Prohibited Burning Period.
This means ALL burning activities are prohibited until the Restricted Burning Period resumes on 29 February 2025.
Our rangers continue to conduct fire mitigation inspections throughout the Shire.
All landowners and occupiers must have their property compliant with the Annual Bush Fire Mitigation Notice 2024/2025 and remain compliant until 30 April 2025.
This includes vacant land, townsite lots, rural residential lots and broadacre farmland.
