The volunteers helping to run the events are our community champions who dedicate their time to promoting the safety of travellers in the region and reducing our road toll.
They will once again be roadside at the Tenterden Store on Friday 28 February 2025 to provide travellers with drinks and snacks. They will encourage drivers to stop, take a break and
refresh before moving on their way.
This funding has enabled improvements to the Driver Reviver trailer to be completed with a vinyl wrap to promote the ‘Take a Break’ philosophy. As part of this program, Kendenup Primary School students provided artwork to be incorporated within the design. The wrap design has been applied to the trailer.
The Administration Officer Infrastructure & Assets Nathanael Taekema presented KPS students Poppy Bradley, Chayse Steicke and Ella North with the Artist Awards at the final school assembly for 2024 with Principal Heather Fergie.
