The Pwakkenbak Trails Open Day on 28 March was a resounding success, bringing together riders of all ages for a fun-filled and active day in the great outdoors.
The event featured skills workshops, facilitated by Chris from CycleSense and guided rides across various skill levels allowing both seasoned riders and beginners to explore the trails and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Participants were treated to a variety of exciting activities, with volunteers from the Mount Barker Mountain Bike Club leading the rides and offering tips on technique, safety, and trail etiquette. The event also featured a selection of delicious refreshments, including free coffee, hot chocolates, cakes, and sandwiches, ensuring everyone was fuelled up for their ride.
"We were thrilled to see such a positive turnout," said Josh Curulli from WestCycle.
